How QuoteChase messages are sent, and how to stop them.
Who sends these messages
QuoteChase is software used by home service businesses (roofers, gutter, plumbing, remodeling and similar contractors) to follow up on a quote or estimate the customer asked for. Every text and email is sent on behalf of one specific business and names that business.
How consent is collected
A customer receives messages only after they personally asked that business for a quote and gave the business their mobile number and/or email address for that purpose (in person, by phone, by email, or through the business's own quote request form). Before any follow-up is scheduled, the business must confirm inside QuoteChase, for each customer:
“This customer asked me for this quote and gave me this number or email to reach them about it. They expect to hear from my business about it.”
QuoteChase records that confirmation with a timestamp on every quote. Businesses may not add purchased lists, cold leads, or anyone who did not request a quote. Phone numbers and emails are never sold or shared for marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties.
What the messages are
Follow-ups about one quote only: whether it arrived, whether the customer has questions, and a final check-in. Typically 3 to 4 messages over about 8 days, sent between 8am and 8pm in the customer's local time, and they stop automatically the moment the customer replies, books, or opts out. Example:
“Hi Jane, this is Smith Roofing. Just checking you got our quote for gutter replacement: $4,800, sent Oct 14. Any questions, reply here and I will get right back to you. Reply STOP to opt out.”
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from that number immediately. Reply HELP for help. Every email carries a one-click link to stop follow-ups. Message frequency varies by quote (usually 3 to 4 messages). Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
